Keep working on your Make Me a Mini projects and your Quilt Con Charity Blocks. Both of these will be due at the October meeting. You can turn in any finished Quilt Con blocks this month.
Nikki will be talking to us about quilt bindings. Here's some info from Nikki:
Binding! Is it your favorite step before snuggling under a
finished quilt or the very last chore before you can call the project
done? If you already love to bind, perhaps you'll pick up a few new
tips and tricks! And if binding is a chore for you, let's find a
technique that makes it less of one! We will cover how to create nice
corners and sew together the binding tails as well as a few different
ways to bind by machine and by hand and how to tackle curves, piping,
and a faced binding.
As always, bring your show and tell projects and we will see you at the meeting!
