We had a really fun May Sew Day on Saturday May 4th. 20 members came and set up their machines, shared food and laughter. Fun way to get to know each other.
We only stopped for a short Guild Meeting. Nikki had several announcements during meeting:
- The Sew Teach Me program at Quilter's Depot is still accepting applications for mentors! They are also accepting donations of fabrics (3/4 yard and larger) and notions. Cynthia is the contact person if you bring donations to the guild meetings.
- Riley Blake Challenges are due by May 31st! Submit your entry on the MQG website under Challenges.
- The MQG is looking for entries for the International Quilt Festival MQG Showcase
Deadline to enter is June 22nd.

- Our Exhibit at the Mt Lebanon library is fast approaching! If you would like to exhibit your POP ART challenge quilt, please bring them to the June 2nd meeting. The exhibit will run the month of July.
- PNQE has offered us space for an exhibit again this year! An email went out with instructions on how to enter. Let us know if you didn't receive an email. Each member can enter up to 3 quilt.
You can also enter your POP ART challenge quilt (which doesn't count as one of the 3 entries).
Entries are due by June 2nd.
-Three Rivers Quilt Show was this past weekend, May 9-11 at Meadows Racetrack.
-Quilt Co East show entries are open till May 17th. They must be mailed in, so print your photos and fill out the entry form soon! Show dates: July 11-13 in Monroeville

- 2020 retreat is booked! it will be held May15-17 at Martina Spiritual Retreat Center.

Nikki also put out a call for 3-4 members to form a committee and review and update by-laws.

We were all busy working on different projects during Sew Day.
