Our Coming Year

We have put together a schedule for 2013 that we hope is as exciting for you as it is for us. As with all things, it's not carved in stone. Life happens, there may be changes.

JUNE DATE TBD: Special Workshop Presentation: Color and Value
This is a special workshop offered outside of the usual first Sunday general meeting time. The workshop will be advertised to the other local quilt guilds in addition to members of the PGH MQG members.
Interior designer, quilter, and PGH MQG vice president, Gina Konopack, will lead a special workshop focusing on the use of color and value in quilting.

July 14: (Please note this meeting is being held on the second Sunday because of the 4th of July weekend) Annual General Meeting/PGH MQG Birthday Party

August 4: Show and Sew

September 8: (Please note this meeting is being held on the second Sunday because of the Labor weekend) Traditional Made Modern: Transforming traditional quilt blocks

  1. This sounds great! I'm really looking forward to the sewing machine maintenance - besides brushing out the lint, it has always been kind of a mystery to me!
